Everyone knows the paparazzi chasing the celebrities to take
a photo of them in compromising
situations, but the origins of this word are a mystery to many people.
Let's
see where it comes from in fact. Before making the famous "La dolce
vita", the italian film direcor,
Federico Fellini, came across the name of
the calabrian hotel owner Coriolano Pararazzo while reading a guidebook. The
filmmaker was so attracted by this name that he used it in his film from 1960.
In his masterpiece, Paparazzo is a character armed with his camera that
"hunts" italian celebrities on yachts.
